Hi! My name is Macie, and I’m a 16-year-old animal lover with a lifelong passion for caring for pets. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, giving me years of hands-on experience understanding their needs, personalities, and daily routines.

I currently help care for my brother’s Golden Retriever service dog, and I regularly reinforce training by practicing commands, using positive praise, and helping maintain good manners and consistency. This experience has taught me the importance of patience, clear communication, and positive reinforcement when working with dogs.

I’m also taking veterinary courses to expand my knowledge of animal health and care, and I have experience safely administering oral medications to pets when needed. After high school, I plan to major in wildlife biology and pursue a career working with animals.
